BandUp ("we", "our", or "the app") is an IELTS test preparation application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BandUp, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account and use the app:

• Account information: your name, email address, and a username and password you set.
• Telegram sign-in data: if you sign in with Telegram, we receive your Telegram ID, username, and the phone number you choose to share, in order to create and secure your account.
• Profile information: an optional profile photo, your country, current English level, target band score, target date, study goals, and study preferences.
• Practice data: your test results, scores, completion records, and study streaks, used to track your progress.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To save your progress and personalize your practice experience.
• To display your statistics, band score estimates, and study streaks.
• To improve the app and fix problems.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend and database provider. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to your account data is protected by row-level security so that you can only access your own data.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that operate the app on our behalf:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Telegram — only if you choose to sign in with Telegram, to verify your identity.

5. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app, in the Profile screen. Deleting your account removes your profile, practice history, and associated data from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

6. Children's Privacy

BandUp is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through the app, or by contacting us at the email below. You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
